*June 29, 2008 - 4th Spotsylvania Annual Stars and Stripes Spectacular 3:00 p.m. in the Spotsylvania Court House area. Spotsylvania County will once again provide a spectacular fireworks display at dark. The show will originate in the Vakos-owned field adjacent to R.E. Lee Elementary School, and will be visible from viewing locations throughout the Court House area. July 24-27, 2008 - Caroline County Fair at the Virginia Bazaar in Ladysmith. The Caroline County Democratic Committee will have a booth at the Fair and would love for you to drop by and visit with local Democrats and pick up your Hartke for Congess signs, bumperstickers, buttons and brochures. June 21 - The Coordinated Campaign is having its first big event of the summer/campaign season, it is called the Commonwealth Canvass Kickoff. Hosted by the Metro Richmond Area Young Democrats. Supporters will canvass in every major county of Virginia-including in Henrico in the Staples Mill precinct. Two shifts are available, one starting at 9am and the other starting at 3pm, that will last for a couple hours. Meet at those two times at the Glen Allen Library which is located at 10501 Staples Mill Rd, Glen Allen, VA.
